Established in 1996 and located in Southampton, Thekchen Buddhist Centre provides a peaceful and inspiring environment where people from all walks of life can learn about Modern Buddhism and Meditation and enrich their lives.
The Centre provides a year-round programme of Meditation Classes, Study Programmes, Day Courses and Retreats that offer practical advice on how to apply Buddha’s teachings to our daily activities.

Meditation & Modern Buddhism: Day Course & Guided Mediation Retreat 2 – 4 June
On 2nd June Gen Kelsang Lekma will give us inspiring instructions of daily practice that is perfectly suited for those seeking solutions within Buddhism to problems of everyday life, as well as for encouraging practitioners of all faiths to deepen their understanding and practice of the spiritual path within busy modern life. Then we have an opportunity to deepen our understanding during two day guided retreat. more details

Just a reminder that it’s half term at Thekchen Centre this week – so there will be no classes at the centre or in our branches (except Dorchester and Southampton University).
